Edward Liptak has represented clients in civil litigation and personal injury defense since 1979. His work includes the defense of medical malpractice, governmental tort and civil rights, workers’ compensation, general liability, auto, products liability cases, as well as mediation and arbitration services.
In 1991, Ed opened Carson Boxberger’s second office in Bloomington, Indiana, serving clients throughout central and southern Indiana.

Charitable (Pro Bono) Services: Since 2001, Ed has been an attorney for the Monroe County Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Program, whose volunteers provide services to abused and neglected children. He serves as the attorney for CASA volunteers in a variety of proceedings, such as the termination of parental rights. He also supports the District 10 Pro Bono Project, supplying free legal services in certain civil proceedings to litigants who cannot afford counsel.
